It’s a beautiful summer day. The sun is shining, the weather is warm, and there are so many fun things to do outdoors. So, what are you up to? What are your weekend plans?

If you aren’t sure what you can do over the summer, check out the 4 outdoor activities below. They will help to boost your mood and get you out of the house!

1. Food Festivals

Chicago is home to an incredible number of food festivals. These festivals have cuisines from around the world, along with fun activities, shopping, and live music. Make sure you check out our blogs about the upcoming food festivals in Chicago, so you don’t miss out!

3. Shop!

Have you visited the Belmont CTA Stop area recently? What about Wicker Park? The Magnificent Mile? There are so many fun places in the city where you can walk around and shop for clothing, vinyl records, shoes, video games, and so much more!

4. Sports

Chicago has a ton of sporting events that you can go to along with sports you can play. For an outdoor sporting event, get tickets to see The Bears, The Cubs, the White Sox, the Chicago Fire FC, or the Chicago Red Stars. If you’d like to play sports, head to the beach and play some volleyball or go to one of the many free parks for basketball, tennis, and even archery!
