4 Fun Ways to Get Exercise in Chicago this Spring!

Spring is here, Chicago! We have some beautiful days ahead of us full of sun and fun!

This spring, spend some time with friends enjoying sober activities that allow you to get some exercise while having an amazing time. There are also some great activities you can do on your own to Zen out, get your blood pumping, and soak up some rays.

Check out the 4 fun ways to get exercise in Chicago this spring below!

1. Beach Volleyball

Are you ready for your Top Gun moment with your best buds? Then get some sunscreen and head to the beach for some volleyball! There are over 150 sand courts to play on, so finding a court isn’t too difficult.

Volleyball is the perfect way to get a nice tan and practice slow-motion montage moves!

2. Archery

Did you know there is a FREE archery range by the water? That’s right! Bring your bow, arrows, and some targets. You can also check out the North Side Archery Club to learn archery, make some friends, and get access to equipment. There are also indoor archery ranges available through the club.

3. Cycling the Bike Paths

If you have a bike, you’ll be happy to know there are a ton of bike paths in Chicago. You can relax, avoid riding on cluttered roads, and enjoy your surroundings. Cycling is a good way to get your heart rate up, burn some calories, and simply live in the moment.

4. Sports Leagues

Chicago is home to a ton of sports leagues. Kickball, volleyball, dodgeball…there are so many options! If you are sober, consider getting some friends together to start your own team, then join a league and start dominating! Or just have some fun, up to you…

These are only a few of the fun spring activities you can enjoy. Get creative and have a blast in Chicago this spring!
